For students of the business, the attached white paper really speaks to the utility of removing waste from healthcare expenditures. Employers who have successfully aligned their financial incentives are benefitting from lower costs, lower premiums and better plans. Tuning up plan sponsor’s health plans becomes a refined process. Read this piece….it’s pretty impressive. Payers will be looking to providers who can deliver cost effective service without compromising quality. We’ll likely begin to see tiered provider networks as the first move toward this strategy.
